Another proudly South African IDS carwash commissioned in Cape Town

Last week we commissioned another proudly South African built IDS drive-through car wash machine at The Woodford Group, Cape Town despatch depot.

For the first time, we assembled almost the entire machine at our Johannesburg workshop and transported it to Cape Town ready for final commissioning on site. Doing the bulk of the work off-site meant less time on the ground in Cape Town, and the wash bay was up and running faster.

From our 1st locally built machine in October 2023 to 10 operational sites today, our IDS wash systems have washed over 1.67 million vehicles between them. Built and supported locally, backed by 88+ years of experience in this industry.

For every site running an IDS wash system, the relationship does not end at commissioning. Our GES Team stays involved through installation, ongoing service, and the years that follow.
